Part Number: TMS320F28386D

I got the F2838x_Quantitative_FMEDA__v1.01_GA.xlsm from TI FAE.

But compare with TMS320F28x7x_Quantitative_FMEDA.xlsx, it does not have the Pin Level Tailoring, Product Function Tailoring, Safety Mechanisms Tailoring and Custom Diagnostics.

    Hello,

    I have contacted our expert, this is the response they have provided:

    As you know, due to the new FMEDA methodology (using our EDA partner, Cadence), there are limitations and hence the customization is not built into the FMEDA.  We are working with Cadence to make the customization possible, and this feature should be available by end of 2Q23.  In the meantime, please provide any customizations required in the below format, and we’ll regenerate the FMEDA.

    1. List of peripherals that need to be excluded (use the detailed sheet of FMEDA to identify the peripherals)
    2. List of SMs that need to be excluded (use the Safety Manual; there’s a table at the end)
