Hi,

Do we have example flash cmd file for F280034?

the example file in ccs cannot be built. I try to modify it. It can be built but after power cycle to boot from flash, it doesn't work.

Any place in my cmd file is wrong?

Which CCS version are you using?

The linker command file that you shared looks correct.

Can you check if the entry point is configured correctly?

I just import the F280039c example and change the cmd file. Where should I modify to make this project working on F280034?

You will have to look into the BOOT ROM registers to see if the BOOTDEF is correctly configured to boot to "CPU Bank 0 Sector 8" .

Allow me to elaborate the flow I think.

1. use any ccs project and get into debug mode on target F280034

2. read the Z1_GPREG3\4 as below. It's all FF (below is from LP-F280039) .

Are you using LaunchPad which has F280039 or a custom board with F280034? On F280039, the entry point will be 0x80000 whereas on F280034 it should be 0x88000.

On F280039, the code start should be set to the entry point of Flash.

BEGIN : origin = 0x00080000, length = 0x00000002

I know f280039.

F280034 is on customer's board. I just want to make sure what you want me to check about Z1_GPREG3\4 .

Currently, customer's board using F280034 cannot work with f280034 cmd file in F280039c example code. I don't know which place i miss. The example code is very simple gpio_ex2_toggle.
