TMDSCNCD28388D: Ethernet support

I have a custom board design based on subject control card. The control card has a MAC ID on a label on the board. How does TI assign the MAC ID to these boards... perhaps there something obvious that I'm missing as I am not well versed in this subject area.

Also if I look at the CCS examples (specifically ethernet_c28x_config), I see that GPIO pins 46 and 73 can be configured but the lines are commented out. Is there anything that I need to be aware of with these pins? They are used as general purpose I/O on my custom board.

Thanks Ben, I think I've determined that the two pins in question (46 and 73) are not needed. I still would like to know how TI assigns a different MAC ID number to the individual control cards.
