TMS320F2800157: TMS320F2800157

Part Number: TMS320F2800157

Tool/software:

Hi Team,
I am working with TMS320F2800157, 48 Pin Package.

My setup is that a DC voltage supply of 0V to 50V getting converted to 0 to 3.3V using a voltage divider.
This 0 to 3.3V voltage value is getting measured using an ADC on board.
The issue is that there is a variable offset coming when the value is getting measured by the ADC.
The offset increases with the increase in the supply voltage.
I have set the Voltage reference as external reference of 3.3V.

My question is how can we adjust the reading for the ADC and remove the variable offset?

  • Hello Pranav,

If you're using a voltage divider, you have a high impedance input, which will cause your ACQPS requirements to increase. Please refer to the TRM ADC chapter, under Additional Information > Choosing an Acquistion Window Size.

If you need to sample faster in this condition, you will probably need to buffer your signal before feeding it into the ADC.

    Best regards,
