Tool/software:
Hi,
I'm working on the old design based on the TMS320LF2407A. There's an external flash connected as a data memory to store the code and external RAM as a program memory.
Originally the firmware was being uploaded into the flash memory using CCS3.3 or prg2xxw95 and XDS510 emulator. Unfortunately I don't have access to XDS510 (and it's not available on the market anymore) thus the only viable option for programming seems to be the SCI interface.
I was able to program the internal flash using SCI and FlashPro 2000 interface.
Is there a way to program the external flash connected to data bus via SCI?
Regards,
Tomasz
Hi Skyler,
This is a parallel flash, S29AL008J70, connected to external memory interface with the /DS as a chip select.

Tomasz
Hi Tomasz,
I'm reaching out to some internal experts who can help support you. I'll provide an update early next week.
Kind regards,

Hi Tomasz,
Unfortunately, we are no longer able to support any development activity on this device.
