Dear all,

I am a CCS user and I also use controlSUITE from TI as a framework for my project with C2000. Recently I met an error in updating controlSUITE to the new package. The message of error which I got when installing the new package controlSUITE as following:

So please help me to fix this error, so that I will have to reinstall controlSUITE in order to access to the new features of new update in the future.

So this is just an update from existing controlSuite or a new version of controlSuite installer from web?

Thank you for your regarding to my problem. I answer your question as following: I am updating from existing controlSuite v3.3 to the new one (v3.4).

If you have any solution for this problem, please help me as soon as possible.

Try running the controlSuite as Administrator and then try updating.

In order for you can understand the problem, I would like to send you other picture to prove that I updated controlSUITE by the automatic updater:

I am wanting to update to controlSUITE v3.3.4 to replace for controlSUITE v3.3.3.

Hi Gautam Iyer,

Thank you for your checking on your computer to verify the operation of controlSUITE updater. I also tried to do this on my laptop, but it still got the above error. I think the problem is in my Windows Installer of Windows 7. So I have reinstalled ControlSUITE with the newest update v3.3.4 to resolve the problem.

However I don't know how the root reason is.
