TMS320F28069: HRPWM, up-down count mode: Setting duty step as one TBCLK per one CMPA change.

Part Number: TMS320F28069

Hello,

Is it possible to set as titled ?  I think it is normally two TBCLKs per CMPA increment.

My customer asked that.

We have the following ideas, but I needed to ask the titled question.

Other ideas:

* Add 0x80 to the CMPAHR portion of CMPA:CMPAHR.

* Change the mode from up-down to up >> This is not accepted due to an impact to deadband control.

  • Hi Hideaki,

You should be able to achieve what you are looking to do with the HRPWM by using the CMPAHR extension register.  It sounds like you have a pretty good grasp of the topic.

You will essentially just use the HRMSTEP register programmed by the SFO to determine the value to program into CMPAHR.

EDIT: Can you clarify what the end goal of the customer is? Are they trying to have consecutive CMP events on each TBCLK?

    Regards,

    Kris
