Hello,

I have a question on the InstaSPIN-FOC User's Guide.

Specifically it is on field boosting.

Field boosting is mentioned along with field weakening in the InstaSPIN-FOC User's Guide; for instance, "Automatic or manual field weakening and field boosting".

What is field boosting?

How can I employ the function of field boosting in the context of the InstaSPIN-FOC?

    No such labs used this function in instaSPIN-FOC, you may add a positive Id that can implement field boosting if you want to do.

    Would please explain me the real cases for field boosting in terms of the ACIM?

    You don't need to use such field boosting function in most cases, even for ACIM, so you may ignore it in all instaSPIN projects.

    Btw, the field boosting is implemented by increasing the Id reference current, not set the Id to Zero for PMSM, or not set it to Id_rated for ACIM.
