TMS320F28035: Control of Dual 3-Phase Motor

Part Number: TMS320F28035
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8301, CONTROLSUITE

This is my first time to use the ti’s mcu to control the motros.

I’ve two questions.

I’ve read the Technical reference manual of the TMS320F2803x.

And I have the first  question in the page 294 and 295.

As the follows picture, in the full 6-bridge mode,

Why have the time (count=800) all of the up-MOSFET is ON ?

And in this time, how to work ?

The second question.

Can we use the TMS320F28035 to drive the MOS-FET directly ?

I’ve saw the SCH in some case. they’ll use the TMS320F28035 -> drv8301 -> MOSFET .

I think the TMS320F28035 have the same PWM’s function with drv8301.

And the drv8301 is only have other functions, such as Buck Converter, HS/LS sense.

And the drv8301’s sense may provide a closed-loop control or protection.

But, I think the TMS320F28035 can also have these sense-function by using it’s ADC.

Could you give me some suggest, thanks.
