    Is the DMA transfer speed using an EMI1 interface with a data width of 32 bits higher than using a data width of 16 bits?

    Yes, the data throughput for 32bit will be higher compare to 16bit.

    Is it possible to use DMA with EMI2?

    No, DMA does not have access to EMIF2.

    Is it possible to use DMA with a EMI interface and a synchronous SRAM?

    Yes, DMA can be access SDRAM interface as well if it has access to EMIF.

    You can also find some DMA throughput benchmarks in the appendices of the EMIF application report.

    Yes, DMA can access it. In the document Tommy shared, you can see the DMA numbers in section "A.2 Synchronous Throughput".
