Hello.

TPS3702 seems to be used for LAUNCHXL-F280049C.

Is it possible to develop TMS320F280049C board without any reset IC such as TPS3702?

Is TPS3702 mandatory?

    Hi U-SK,

    The F28004x has an internal BOR which will monitor VDDIO & put the device in reset if the voltage is outside of the recommended operating conditions. 

    As a result, for the F28004x, an external voltage monitor is generally not required. 

    However, some applications, such as ISO 26262 systems, may still require an external monitor.
