TMS320F28335: 3 Phase Motor control

Part Number: TMS320F28335

Hello Guys,

Good day.

Our customer wanted to know if its possible to configure the built-in ADC of the device in continuous conversion mode?
also, are there any drivers associated with the device?

Thanks and regards,

Art

  • Hello,

    Kindly disregard the 1st inquiry.  e2e new forum feature seems to populate the message box with one's previous post. I apologize about this.

    As for the customer's real inquiry, referring to the attached customer schematic below, he wants to test this chain:

    he force via software this value in input signal :
    Vq=0.1 (or 0.2 ecc)
    Vd=0

    What he expect is that the rotor turn.
    What he saw is that the motor don't move (just a little angle at begin), then it stop.
    Changing Vq have no influence on motor position..No 1 degree is moving.

    Notes:
    Encoder has been tested ,and working ok.
    Same bridge and SWPWM

    Test they did:
    If they disconnect the encoder, and force angle theta to change via software, the motor turn.

    Thanks and regards,

    Art

  • He need to test his software integration. I assume that he is using encoder angle to set the angle position for SVPWM. May be he should consider adding 90degrees to the angle he gets out of encoder and try, or any other angle
