MCAL Software for Hercules

With help of our distributor, we found a new opportunity for an automotive ECU with TMS570 inside.

They're looking into using AUTOSAR Basic Software inclusiding MCAL layer.

How do we engage on this? What can they get from TI and how? What has to come from 3rd parties?

    Hello Jkoelega:

    In order to get access to the AUTOSAR MCAL it is required a signed license agreement (contact a sales or marketing representative). We provide the following:

    1. Free access to evaluation version (currently available for TMS570LS31, TMS570LS12 and TMS570LC43 families).
    2. AUTOSAR tool for driver configuration and code generation (EB Tresos).
    3. A production MCAL license is required prior to production release on their system.

    The customer needs to obtain the rest of the BSW and OS from a third party provider. Our solution can be integrated with most third party solutions following the standard.
