Having trouble in installing HalCoGen in Windows 10.

Hi TI,

I am using Windows 10 64 bit OS in PC. I have downloaded HalCoGen and tried to install it. But the I cannot install the software.

I'm getting the following error when extracting the Zip file downloaded.

and I am getting the following error when I try installing HalCoGen.

I tried downloading HalCogen more than 5 times. But Again and again I'm getting the same error.

Please Help me installing HalCogen in my PC.

Hi Markel,

Unfortunately I not able to test installing HalCoGen in another PC running Windows 10. (My friends or anybody I know don't have Windows 10 in their PC.) So I can't test in another PC. Why it is not installing I don't know. Please help me.

Hi TI,
Please anybody do reply for my problem. I've bought new HDK-LC4357 kit. But I didn't start using it. Please somebody help. I need HalCoGen Software to be installed in my PC.

Hello Karthik,

I will forward your question to our HalCoGen team they can confirm the problem and assist you. In the meantime, per the supported OS listed below, window 10 is not one of them.

Hi Karthi,

This looks like an unzip issue.

Chances are

1) unzip utility is bad/incompatible.

workaound : Try any other unzip utility, like the one comes with standard windows not 7z

2) The file is corrupted during download

workaound : Try downloading in other machine, and copy the zip file to your machine and unzip.

Unfortunately I do not have Win 10 machine, will try this tomorrow or day after and update you. Meanwhile pls try above workaround.
