Yes, FreeRTOS is certainly supported on TMS570LS04x parts. You can use the LAUNCHXL-TMS57004 to get started with developing your application on this part. HALCoGen includes examples you can use as reference to create your programs. HALCoGen also includes a couple of examples using FreeRTOS.
