TMDS570LS12HDK: TMDS570LS12HDK board damage while received

Part Number: TMDS570LS12HDK

We ordered the TMDS570LS12HDK board online via ti store and received. As soon as we opened and had a look, the mini USB port was broken. I have contacted Ti customer support within 20 mins when we opened the FedEx box. The case reference number is CS0023364. Please kindly have a look and let us know how this can be resolved.

Sorry for the delay of my response. You may need to contact E2E for your request. Yes we should need to wait for the investigation coming from our engineers and then we will proceed with the replacement but it will only depend on their feedback and with the documents provided by you.

Could some one from TI E2E forum look into this and help me to sort out? Its not straight forward to report the hardware issue while shipping and ask for a replacement. I have got a note form TI customer support as below.

Hello Dinesh, For the procedure of the replacement, Please note that for order T00376745 you will need to first provide the URL link showing where the customer has been referred to E2E & that they have determine & commented in the thread that they have assessed the device and recommend the return including the order number as we are unable to assist without the proper process. Hi Miro,
Thanks for your support. I will get back to you as soon as I get the confirmation from TI customer support for the replacement. We are planning to order one more board. I will do once i receive the replacement board. I would appreciate if i receive the board without any physical damage.

The reason for the damage would be that it doesn't have any foam inside the box(Black Box). Its very easy to move and collide with other parts.
