We are using TMS570LC4357 in our design and operating Ethernet in RMII mode clocked at 50MHz.
As per the transmit timing on page 209 of datasheet, the 'Output delay time, RMII_REF_CLK High to RMII_TXD valid' is given as 2ns (min) to 16ns (max).
Is this a valid clock to output delay for a 20ns clock period? The question here arises is how can we meet setup time, when the clock to data output delay takes up 80% of the clock period.
Can you please confirm on this timing?
