Hi team,

Could you share what might be happened if unused SDxPx (SDxNx) were left open?

I understand it is recommended to short and connect to the analog ground.

If those were left open, would it affect other ADC’s performance, for example?

Hi Kurumi,

I believe the pins are shorted and grounded to minimize power consumption and to avoid noise from crosstalk. You might see increased power consumption with noise on other ADCs if these pins are not shorted and grounded as recommended.
