Hello

I would like to use a MSP430F5326 as an alternative part for a MSP430F5526, if possible without changing the layout.

We neither use the USB interface of the 5526 nor the LDO of the 5326. The current layout for the 5526 has pin B7 (PUR) connected to ground, because the USB interface is not used.

5326 list pin B7 as "NC". Is it anyway possible to use the 5326 with B7 connected to ground?
