Hello,

I'm receiving the above error message when programming with Elprotronic Lite FET-Pro4330 software.

We have an old MSP-FET430UIF which works perfectly on V3.4 of the Elprotronic software.

However, we have recently purchased a new MSP-FET430UIF and it will not work. We have also purchased a new version 3.5 of the Elprotronic software and it will not work on this either.

Can you assist?

Hi James,

Dose the CCS can detect the UIF? The UIF is not recommended to use now, we recommend to use MSP-FET.

Pardon my ignorance, what is CCS? The red power light on the UIF is on when it is plugged in if that is what you are asking...

I actually have a MSP-FET here as well and I receive the same message.

It is Code Composer Studio that is the IDE https://www.ti.com/tool/CCSTUDIO-MSP?keyMatch=&tisearch=search-everything&usecase=partmatches

You can also try to install the low level driver first

I'm not using the Code Composer Studio, just Elprotronic's Lite FET-Pro4330 software as all I'm doing is loading/updating existing firmware onto existing PCBs for some of our products.

I downloaded those drivers but they haven't helped...

I recommend to download a Uniflash https://www.ti.com/tool/UNIFLASH?keyMatch=&tisearch=search-everything&usecase=software

It is not big and easy to install. That software will help to check if any hardware error or low level driver issue on your side.
