MSP430F2013: How to use in lauch pad in MSP430G2

Hi,

Are you trying to use the MSP430F2013 in the MSP430G2 launchpad dip socket? If so, this is not supported.

To program the MSP430F2013 you will need a target socket board and MSPFET. 

What are your goals? Maybe I can help you find another solution.

Strange, when I look at Table 3 (supported devices) in slau318 I find the F2013.

Yes your are correct. 

In table 3, It is updated .

But in energia its not showing.

You are correct, I misspoke: F2013 is supported by the G2 Launchpad.

The energia GUI is not maintained by TI, however others on this forum may have experience doing what you are trying to do. You may have better luck posting on https://forum.43oh.com/
