MSP-EXP430FR5969: How to find the start address.

Part Number: MSP-EXP430FR5969

Hi Team,

I am helping the customer to extract the program from their EVM by following this thread: (https://e2e.ti.com/support/tools/code-composer-studio-group/ccs/f/code-composer-studio-forum/692926/ccs-ccstudio-copying-code-from-microprocessor-to-computer) unfortunately, they do not know what memory locations are being used, don't know what start location and how big it is.

Is there a way to find this?

Thanks!

Regards,

Marvin

  • Hi Marvin,

Use Uniflash. You can download from the link provided, or you can run it from the cloud.

Once you tell it what device you have, skip the programming step and go to Read Memory.  I will read everything and show you the code/data and locations.

  • Hi Marvin,

It's been a while since we have heard from you, so I'm going to assume you were able to move forward with your project.
