TUSB 3410 Automatic Driver Installation

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TUSB3410

is it Possible to Install  TUSB3410 Driver Automatically without Pointing the Location in CDROM or any thing ????

if yes let me know.

  • No you can not.

You have to specify the location of driver files. becoz it is not registered/ included in your PC windows-Microsoft or any.

  •  Hi Milap, I remember some installation can be included customizing win disk, original question is not clear on how it wish automatically what, installation files  if included in system area at install no disk is requested for. With wndows environment nothing is same from time to time so on new version may or not work at random.

    Sort of.
If the disk is in the list of  install locations, and contains the drivers with an INF file named OEMSETUP.INF, then it will perhaps be found if you let the system search for the driver instead of manually picking the driver location.
However, a 'silent' driver installation is only possible if the drivers have been already integrated into the system. So your second TUSB attached to a different USB port will install without any dialog.

This is not true however you are in bad M$ habit of run program as administrator.

If you install one TUSB driver are in place but when you insert in another HUB or insert another TUSB then system ask you  administrator validation dialog. If you are one of "all are administrator" remember this is not a good way to use computer.

This way viruses came from everywhere and not from update channel only.

I think there is a policy setting that allows this without admin dialog.

But you're right, I run may machines in administrator mdoe. For exactly this and man other reasons.
However, despite of being in the net a lot and such, I got a virus only twice in the last 20 years. And one of them came from an official install disk. But I admit, I'm not a 'normal' computer user. I know when to click on a button and when to stay away. Of course a good anti-virus program doesn't hurt too.
