MSP430FR2355: Connect "MSP-FET430UIF" via COM port to CCS

Is it possible to connect the MSP-FET430UIF via virtual com port with CCS? In CCS there is an option "UARTConnection". But no UART can be selected.

Hi Hardy,

The virtual com port is used for user to transmit data to PC through serial port, I think you should use a serial debug assistant instead of CCS.

I am not interested in analyzing the data of the serial port. I want to develop software with CCS for a TI CPU. The hardware is in the lab. I want to use the MSP-FET430UIF from the office in the lab. I can already control the serial ports of the hardware as a virtual COM port from the office. Is this also possible with the MSP-FET430UIF?

MSP-FET430UIF don't support serial ports function.
