UCS module fail-safe operation is mentioned in userguide, but how to verify that our varient has that support? Or Does all the MSP430 series have the support? In datasheet I couldn't find anything related to the Fail-safe operation.

When referred in the userguide, came to know that XT1,XT2,REFO are required for fail safe mechanism. when checked in datasheet of MSP430F5358 all these three are available. can i conclude that the fail safe mechanism is available in the MSP430F5358?

Thank you. And also i am having a doubt like when i have enabled XT2 and it got failed then the MCU will switch to REFO or XT1(in code i have given nothing regarding XT1). 32.678Khz is connected between Xin and Xout. Let me know what will happen in this scenario.
