How to program the EVM?
Can we use TI launch pad for programming the EVM. If so please detail the steps involved.

You should program the EVM. It recommends using MSP-FET, but you can use the EZ-Fet lite on the launchpad if you switch the JTAG selection headers to SBW (S) mode, and connect GND, VCC, SBWTCK, and SBWTDIO/TDO.
