My customer has the following question:
The transient event below occurs during operation.
The component is an MSP430F5438AMPZREP and the question is whether or not its IO pins could handle a 50mA transient for 20nS when configured as input pins.
Any insight would be helpful. I see the datasheet specs a diode current on the IO pins as 2mA but I was imagining that was more of a continuous stress not transient.
