Hi good afternoon,

I'm trying to program the MSP430F5508 using the Programmer MSP-FET Flash Emulation Tool and the Software SmartRF Flash Programmer, but an error message is gotten from the Software, which is:

Interface Communication error.

Could you help me to fix this error message so to go forward with the programming of the IC MSP430F5508 using the MSP-FET Flash Emulation Tool?

Hello,

The USB interface of MSP-FET connects it to the computer, and the 14-pin connector of MSP-FET provides access to the MSP debugging simulation port.

Perhaps you can first try to check if the computer correctly recognizes the UBS interface of the MSP-FET. If the corresponding serial port is not displayed in the device manager on the computer when connect the MSP-FET to your computer, it indicates that the computer doesn't recognize the USB.
