MSP430FR5043: MSP430FR5043 Custom Ultrasonic Board Software issues

Hello,

I have designed an custom PCB using the MSP430FR5043 with the purpose of taking ultrasonic readings. I am currently using the example code titled FR6047_USSSWLib_template_example but changed the target device to the microcontroller I am using. I began running into issues taking readings and was wondering if there was a solution to configure that example for this microcontroller to take simple time-of-flight readings.

Are you working on a water meter? You can start with this example code UltrasonicWaterFR604x_02_40_00_00->MSP430FR6043EVM_USS_Water_Demo

Then follow the below steps to change for FR5043 MCU. 6318.MSP430FR5043_SW_Changes.zip

Cash Hao11, thank you for the response. I am using this board in a level sensing application using a single transducer of 1Mhz to take basic TOF readings. I am more specifically trying to update this CCS project to be compatible with the MSP430FR5043 as I already have it working on the EVM439-FR6047.

Hi,

The SW change document is for changing based on the UltrasonicWaterFR604x_02_40_00_00->MSP430FR6043EVM_USS_Water_Demo. I am not sure if you can change it based on the template example project. I can do some test later to try with it .
