MSP430FR6989: Is CCS 6.1.3 the only way of working with TI-RTOS for MSP430?

Part Number: MSP430FR6989

When I was trying to run TI-RTOS MSP430FR6989, I realized CCS Theia and CCS 12.7 was no-go. One of the earlier forum replies just suggested using CCS version mentioned in the TI-RTOS release notes. And it worked. However, the problem is I now have 3 versions of CCS for different capabilities. I know TI is not a software-centric company but this is really absurd situation. Is there reliable and easy way of importing that to CCS Theia?

  • TI-RTOS is provided with full source code. If you really want to use it, I would sugget you to move it to CCS Theia. However, TI-RTOS will have no update and support, due to some strategy from the head of company. I would suggest you to use some mature software tools/RTOS.
