MSP430F5132: How many pwm can be generated using msp430f5132

Hi,

Please tell me the number of pwm signals that can be generated using msp430f5132.Actually I need to generate a total of 4 pwm signals.

Currently 2 Pwm are genereted using timer D0 and Timer D1 respectively.How can I generate other 2 PWM.

Are they all at the same repetition rate, or totally independent?

Whether you meant same frequency.I need to generate different frequencies.

Hello Cyril,

To clarify: you need all 4 PWMs to run at different frequencies/periods? Not just changing the duty cycle for the same period?

If you just need 4 PWMs from the same period, then you can use the other CCx registers in the current timers to generate more PWM signals. If you need them to run at different frequencies, then you will have to use more timer modules or have the CPU interact with the timer interrupts.
