I have a problem in the Software example for calculation DTOF, absolut TOF, and Volume flow rate.

in the file USSLibGUIApp.c the function USS_runAlgorithmsFixedPoint(&gUssSWConfig,&algResFixed) is called to calculate the above result. i tried to check where the function is declared
but i don't find. i only found that in file ussSwLib.h the function is declared using extern to be afound in USSLibGUIApp.c or other file, but i don't see a file where the implimentation of this function is located.

i tried to debug to see if the programm goes in it, but when it reaches the function it doesn't go in it. could you help me and tell me in which file this function is implemented?

i can't see how DTOF and abs. TOF as weel as Flowrate is calculated.

Hi,

USS_runAlgorithmsFixedPoint function is inside the USS library which is non-disclosed library.

If you are interested in the calculation theory. Please refer to below app note. It describes the basics of how the signal is calculated for the dTOF and absTOF result.

Hi Cash,
thank you for your response. i have an other Problem regarding Software.
I developed a Board with MSP430FR6047. Communication interface i'm using SN65HVD1781D for RS485.
for Software update i'm using MSP FET also from TI see https://www.ti.com/tool/MSP-FET.
my Problem is: as long as the MSP FET is connected to the board, the SW works fine without problem. but when i remove the MSP FET to the board the SW doesn't run.
I thought i was voltage suppy issue, but i tried to supply the Board with the same way as MSP FET and it doen't work.
the software is in the board, but it only works when i connect the MSP Fet to the board.
how can i solve this issue?

Could you send out the schematic of your board? We can check on it and see if it is related to hardware issue.

Hi,

Is the RST pin be pulled up to 3.3V without powering from MSP-FET? Could you measure the voltage on the RST pin?

Hi Cash,
when i remove the MSP-FET i don't have 3.3V on RST pin. Probably i have a shortcircuit on the Board. but i don't understand why it works when i connect MSP Fet to the board.
