MSP430FR2433: Program MSP430FR2433 LaunchPad with MSP-FET

Hello Michael,

Follow the 2-wire JTAG connections guide from the MSP430 Hardware Tools User's Guide and seen below.  Use TDO/TDI and TCK, as well as power and GND. You can connect them to the Launchpad programming headers.   

As for CCS, I believe it automatically tries both JTAG and SBW when attempting to connect so I don't believe there is anything you need to do there.

Hey Michael,

R1 and C1 should already be on the launchpad, so you shouldn't need external components.  I would double how you are powering the MCU.  Also make sure you are using the headers closest to the MSP430 and not on the programmer side.  

You can share a picture of your setup for review if you'd like. 

Also, I'm not sure why you are wanting to use the MSP-FET specifically, but you can also use the eZ-FET from another Launchpad if you have one handy.
