I recently purchased the EM430F6137RF900 dev boards and have been trying to find the correct 2x4 and/or 1x4 2.54mm female header connectors. I linked to an image of the boards which shows the 2x4 rectangle 2.54mm male pins on the bottom right of the image.

Has anyone found the suitable connectors for this, preferably without the need for crimped pins/sockets? I asked a TI support person who was very helpful and suggested:

Which works and I'd need two of them for each 8 pin group but are nearly $3 each. Each board will need nearly $30 of these connectors to fully utilize the pins. I don't mind buying them but if anyone has found a cheaper solution I'd be very appreciative. So far I have come up with nothing in my searches of digikey, mouser, arrow, and newark but I could have been filtering the results incorrectly and missing a viable solution.
