Error -1063 - Unable to upload code to MSP432

Hi,

I was testing some code changes on my project that uses a MSP432 it was working properly, but suddenly I was unable to upload the code and I'm getting the following error:

Error connecting to the target:
(Error -1063 @ 0x0)
Device ID is not recognized or is not supported by driver. Confirm device and debug probe configuration is correct, or update device driver.
(Emulation package 6.0.228.0)

Hi Rodolfo,

There are several similar posts to this one including:
e2e.ti.com/.../460430

It appears to be the same issue you're experiencing and it looks like they found a solution.

I would read through the issue and full answer before trying the suggested workaround below:
1. In your project, make sure that you have --retain=interruptVectors in your linker file or #pragma RETAIN(interruptVectors) in your startup
2. Run the Factory reset - e2e.ti.com/.../430158
3. Build/download your project with the updated linker or start up file

Hi Caleb,

I tried to upload different projects and I still get the same error. Also, I installed CCS in another machine and tried to upload example project and got the same error again. So I don't think is something related to the project itself.

Then I tried to "run the factory reset" by changing the Erase Method to "Factory Reset", but I got the same error again.
