Good day!

I am working with a loval customer to design a smartplug with Bluetooth Classic and Wifi Capability. I have proposed to them our MSP430i2040 for sub metering, MSP4305529 for Host MCU, CC3100 for wifi and CC2560 for BT Classic. I have provided them EVM's to get them started and they were asking if we do have available source code using the MSP4305529LP with CC256xEM and CC3100BOOST in one board to start off their design. Do we possibly have any source code for this application? Or would you recommend on what sample codes that they can use to start off?

All of the code examples you are looking for are provided in the CC3100SDK. I would also encourage the customer to check out the CC31xx & CC32xx TWiki page: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../CC31xx_&_CC32xx

Do we have any experience or smaple codes where we used CC3100 and CC2560 with the MSP4305529?

Hi Alfred,

TI's code examples do not go in-depth to the point of providing experience/sample code integrating three different devices. Luckily the CC3100SDK and CC256XMSPBTBLESW each provide code examples for the MSP-EXP430F5529LP or MSP-EXP430F5529, respectively, thus providing a great starting point for the customer with firmware that does not need to be ported to another MSP430 device.
