Hello.
I have a question.
I’m considering power supply pins design : AUXVCC1~3,VASYS,VDSYS,DVSYS.
Looking at the EVM430-F6736 reference design, I think these pins need a lot of capacitors.
Are there capacitors connected to power supply pins(AUXVCC1~3,VASYS,VDSYS,DVSYS) I can reduce ?
Would you tell me some advises?
Regards,
Uchida-k
Hi Uchida,
Section 5.7.6 of the MSP430F6726A datasheet shows the recommended operating conditions as well as recommended capacitance on the AUXVCC1-3, VASYS, VDSYS, and DVSYS pins.
It looks like the EVM430-F6736 is following this recommendation. You could exclude the 0.1uF caps being used in the design and be ok as well.
Best regards,
