Does MSP430Ware Driver Library work on MSP430F169

Hi, 

I am using Code Composer and have been trying to import the Driver Library of MSP430ware to a project based on MSP430F169 but it doesn't seem to work. 

The resource explorer of MSP430ware on CCS shows that the Driver Library is available for the following micro families MSP430FR57xx , MSP430FR5xx_6xx, MSP450FR3xx_4xx and MSP430i2xx, does this mean that it does not work on MSP430F169.

For this particular project i have to use MSP430F169, and i also would like to take advantage of the Driver library to write a well layered and structured program rather than having to deal with low level particulars (register level code) which i can do if there are no other options, 

any help is highly appreciated.
