Hey,
I'm following the TIDA-01088 reference design, however the design guide gives little information regarding how to download the F67641 project to the MSP430F67641 SoC. If you could guide me through the process of its download, it'll be very much appreciated.
Regards,
Hira
Hira,
You can find these details in Section 6 (starting on page 38) of the User's Guide. To learn more about how to use IAR, refer to the following IAR User's Guides.

It says "download this project onto the MSP430F67641 device". What I'm looking for is a step by step guide as to how to do that. It'll be greatly appreciated.

I'd strongly encourage you to read through the IAR User's Guides linked in my previous post to get familiar with the tools you are using. If you have followed the instructions in Section 6 and have the board configured correctly and the MSP-FET connected, just click the green "Download and Debug" button in the IAR IDE.

In order to download the project, just the JTAG to USB cable needs to be connected from the board to PC or there are other connections (eg. external DC power supply) need to be given too?
Which emulator are you using? Is it the MSP-FET? According to Section 5.2 in the User's Guide, you can either power the device using the voltage provided through the JTAG interface (provided by the MSP-FET using the power available from your computer) or power the device with an external power supply. Please make sure all the jumpers described in Table 3 match whichever configuration that you choose.

Can you guide me with what connections are to be made (starting and ending point), in order to just download the project via JTAG while powering the board externally?
