MSP430G2553: MSP430G2553 Code Data Erasing Problem while it in Operation Mode.

We use MSP430G2553 in our Design. While the product/board is working at site/or operating condition, suddenly the code in the data in the Information memory are getting erased.

Kindly provide a solution.

Do you use any functions for writing into the flash memory during runtime?

Hi Venkat,

Please read our application report Debugging Flash Issues on the MSP430 Family of Microcontrollers (Rev. A). This provides solutions to the most common flash programming issues seen by our customers. If you have functions writing to flash during runtime, focus your attention there first and ensure the flash controller has been setup properly. Many times in a scenario like this, the flash controller has not been supplied the correct clock or the clock division bits haven't been setup correctly to ensure the frequency is within datasheet specifications. Section 4 of the linked application report covers this in more detail.

Thanks for your valuable reply i gone through the document and i adopted the procedure as mention in the datasheet. but still i am seeing the same problem.

Would you share your code to have a look or to test it? Is there a specific time after the data got erased?
