Hi all,
recently I've been trying to connect the MSP-EXP430G2 Launchpad with the IO_Expander EVM for one of my projects. I've downloaded the software needed to install the GUI and in one of my laptops I can't find the port number that I should be using for the USB.
I've done the same procedure on other laptops and it works: once I connect the launchpad through the USB, it shows up on the Ports tab within the Device Manager window. But it doesn't on my go-to laptop. Have you ever encountered a similar problem? Is it an issue with the drivers?
The board has been reset and the procedure performed multiple times but somehow I can't see the device on the ports list when it's connected.
