MSP-TS430RHA40A: Compatible with MSP430FR5848?

I am looking for a target board for my MSP430FR58 (with the 40-pin RHA package). Will the MSP-TS430RHA40A work even if it says that it is meant for the MSP430FR572x and MSP430FR573x? I have compared both pin outs and I have found that the 30th pin is not the same on both devices.

    Hello Mohamed,

    Yes, the MSP-TS430RHA40A should work for you. As the MSP430FR5848 does not have a Vcore pin(pin 30), you will want to remove C9 and place R8 if you would like to have pin 30 on the J3 header.
