Good morning,

I have the same problem and your solution does not work for me. I have followed what you said and I get nothing. Do you have any other ideas? It would be very helpful. I can download the .out file into the MSP-EXP430G2ET. Later, when I launch the RF430FRL152HEVM software I cannot connect to the launchpad, as you can see in this picture:

I have put the pins in HW-UART and removed the pin 1.6. Is there anything I am doing wrong?

    So, you are using RF430FRL152H Patch? Please follow the guide in the RF430FRL152H Patch Application Report.

    That dopcument is abouyt the patch. My problem is that I cannot connect the MSP-EXP430G2ET/TRF7970A bundle. When I run the software RF430FRL152H GUI it does not connect to the bunfle. That application report you have copy paste does not help at all.

    How am I suposed to configure the MSP-EXP430G2ET/TRF7970A bundle (hardware and formware) to make it connect to the RF430FRL152H GUI software?

    Hello,

    what I can see from you screenshot that in the field at the left bottom it says "Make Selection".
    Is there no COM port you can select from? Only after selecting a COM port you can press the "Connect to .." button.

    If there is no COM port available please check with the Windows Device Manger if you can see a COM here when you connect the Launchpad. Maybe this is a problem with the COM port driver.

    In the screenshot there is no com port selected but I can choose com1 and com2 (not workyng). I have read many times that I have ti switch HW-UART and removed the pin 1.6 in many different websites. Anyway, I have tried without doing that and It does not work either.

    At the end I have maneged to make it work (yes, you have to put the pins in HW-UART mode and remove pin 1.6). What I have done is delate the programe, install it again and run it wit windows 7 compatibility and as and administrator.
