MSP430FR5729: Difference between comparator module of MSP430Fr5729 (Comp_d) and Comparator module of MSP430FR5969/5994 (Comp_e)

Part Number: MSP430FR5729

Hello All,

I want to know the difference between comp_d and comp_e comparator module...

Which is better in-terms of current consumption and performance???

With Regards

Aalekh Devari

  • Hi Aalekh,

The main difference between comp_d and comp_e module is comp_e supports ultra-low-power comparator mode. You can have a trade-off between current consumption and speed. The comp_e is better in current consumption due to slower response. You can find the detail parameters in datasheet.
