MSP430F2132: AC to DC Battery charger

Hi Sir

We have a requirement for AC to DC 29.4V/8A battery charger project and need to support can bus communication

The system structure is similar with below reference design ,but below reference design doesn't have the detail information for MCU

Could you provide the MSP430 reference design for this kind of battery charger application ?

Hello Kai,

We don't have many battery charger reference designs with MSP430. The only one I could find was this one for Li-ion batteries. : http://www.ti.com/general/docs/litabsmultiplefilelist.tsp?literatureNumber=slaa287

Also, MSP430 doesn't offer any integrated CAN bus solutions. To add CAN to an MSP430 solution, a separate TI interface chip would be required. Here is more information on those possible solutions: http://www.ti.com/interface/can-lin/overview.html
