MSP-EXP430G2: MSP - EXP430G2 Launchpad not able to erase/flash MSP430i204x MCUs

Hi All,

We are trying to erase/flash MSP430i204x MCU with EXP430G2 launcpad. But it is showing failed.

Kindly clarify us does the EXP430G2 LP supports Spy Bi Wire programming for MSP430i204x MCUs.

    Spy-Bi-Wire is supported in MSP430G2 LaunchPad Development kit according to UG

    The "old" G2 Launchpad can only program F2/G2-series devices (a subset of them), and it can't be upgraded. It doesn't know what an i2-series device is.

    The "new" G2ET Launchpad has an ezFET, and so can program "all programmable MSP430..devices". [Ref MSP Debuggers UG (SLAU647M) Table 1]
