Hello,

We have an segmented LCD similar but not the same to the one in EVM430-FR6047. After a long usage sometimes some of the segments show error values. It doesn't go away on resetting the device but only goes away or reprogramming the device. Why does this happen? Is it a power issue? Are there ways to tackle them by resetting the LCD sometime?

    Prudhvi,

    did you measured the dedicated LCD lines with a scope and checked want might be wrong on the signals?

    Also did you checked before reprogramming that the code you programmed before was still ok by reading it out and comparing it?

    Hi Prudhi,

    were you able to check the LCD lines with a scope for correct function of the signals? Also were you able to check the non working code before reprogramming?
