Hi,

i am currently trying to work with GRACE and MSP430G2454, but everytime i try to load the .cfg file, CCS notifies an error that MSP430G2452 is not supported.

Is it so? I also receive the error "Address is out of range" everytime i load the firmware to othre target device (i tried with MSP430G2132 and MSP430F2274), but adter closing the error window the debugger is actually working fine.

Is it a known bug?

    I've been having the same problem, and suspect that the MSP430G2454 is not yet supported by Grace.  For instance, in the MSP430 include files under the grace_1_00_00_56_eng folder, there is no "msp430g2452.h" file; but there are other files such as "msp430g2231.h".

    For what it's worth, I'm using an MSP 430G2454 in a Launch Pad with:

    • Code Composer Studio Core Edition Version: 4.2.1.00004
    • Grace Beta 2 1.0.0.56-eng
    • RTSC/XDCtools 3.21.0.21-eng

    Henry, you are right of course.  The release notes description of the device support is misleading and the Beta2 release of Grace only supports the G22xx1 value line devices, not all of G2xxx devices.  Our next release will extend support to G2xx2 and G2xx3 devices as well.
