CCS/MSP430FR6989: How to save data to excel sheet which has been derived from MSP launchpad??

Hello,

I am doing small project in which requires the results to save in the laptop or desktop in excel sheet (or word sheet).

Is there any way to do that?

Hi Shardul,

In FRAM Utilities, there is an example for the random number generator that shows how to save data to a CSV file on your PC. Take a look into it and let me know if it's what you're looking for.

Thank you very much for the quick response.

I have successfully downloaded FRAM utilities and then I opened CCSv7 and installed it.

But I don't know how do I open FRAM utilities??

Hi Shardul,

You can access FRAM utilities in CCS by going to View --> Resource Explorer Classic Then from there follow the path in the image below:

Or you can import the project via: Project --> Import CCS Projects and if you've installed everything in the default directories, browse to C:\ti\msp430\FRAM-Utilities_03_00_00_22\examples\rng\CCS and choose the csv project.
