I am new in this field and i have been facing a problem in my I2C communication i am trying to send multiple bytes using I2C but  i can see that the data or the first byte is saved in UCBxTXBUF Register but not transmitted so can anyone help me with this issue please

  • Your code needs to follow the state diagram in User Guide (SLAU445I) Fig 24-12 (for Master Transmitter).

    There are Examples available in TI Resource Explorer

    and under the "Design and Development" tab on the Product page.

    In the absence of any clues, that's all I can suggest.

    [Edit: One easy way to get a symptom resembling this is to get the slave address wrong. I2CSA is 7 bits; the R/W bit is not part of the address.]
